BookPeople has been part of Austin for over 50 years. For much of that time, we have worked closely with schools and libraries to support their needs and goals. We regularly go into over 80 schools a year across 5 districts to talk up books, feature authors, and promote a love of reading. Every school year, BookPeople is able to bring many authors and illustrators to Austin schools for exciting and dynamic author visits. Over the years we have worked with many schools, local authors and artists, and publishers to provide a fun and meaningful experience at all schools and all age levels.
